TWO NEW ARTICLES ABOUT FORECASTWATCH!

Two new articles have been placed on the ForecastWatch website. The first, titled "ForecastWatch Provides The Highest Quality Data", has detailed information about how ForecastWatch ensures the quality of the accuracy data, and describes some of the tools used to audit the data. The second article is titled "How ForecastWatch Measures Actuals", and demonstrates the problems in blindly using the recorded actuals and uses November 25, 2004 as an example of how ForecastWatch corrects for those problems. I hope you enjoy them both and find them informative. The URLs are listed below:

YEAR-END DATA NOW FULLY AUDITED AND AVAILABLE

The delay in getting December and year-end data in was due to a full re-audit of all 2004 data, and the time required to re-run the monthly aggregations for every month. As part of the aggregations, we have upgraded our mapping software to display more colors. We hope you enjoy the new look.
